Headphone cord controlling screen

So my headphone cord brushed up against my phone screen and it is acting like a stylus, selecting things and moving the screen.
At first I thought it was really cool but now I'm noticing it all the time and they don't even need to be plugged in.
They didn't appear to be doing it until i noticed it today, is there a stylus support button I accidentally turned on?
Anyone else getting this and what other items can be used to navigate the screen?

Do you have the high screen sensitivity turned on ?

Wow, yeah that seemed to be it. Turned it off and it was still doing it but it ceased after a reboot.
Thanks a lot, that was starting to drive me batty

Oops spoke to soon. Still does it but with sensitivity off its drastically reduced. I can at least live with that.
