headphone jack help

so, my stock GS3 headphons dont fit the jck on the N7, why is that? is the size different?

They should be the same size. Sometimes jacks can be pretty tight--how hard did you push?

I had to push in harder than I originally thought necessary for my Galaxy Nexus headphones to work.
