Headphone Jack Issues

Anyone else having problems with the headphone jack? Mine sounds quiet, high pitched, and distorted compared to my Note 5. Non Samsung headphones with music controls seem to randomly pause and skip tracks as well, same headphones work on the Note 5.

Use a can of compressed air to blow out the jack, in case there's any debris in there. Is the headphone plug clicking into place when you push it in? Sometimes jacks can be really tight, and the user ends up not pushing the plug in all the way out of concern that it might damage something.
