Not to long ago I noticed that my Headphone jack on my phone stopped working. In the time it had stopped working I hadn't dropped it or even used the headphone jack.
The only thing I really did was clean it as the area i work in can be quite dusty it clogs up my headphone jack and sometimes what ever I plug into it wont go in so i used a pin and gently dug around in it to clear it out and I left at that. I didn't use it until now and noticed that only one side works and the other is quieter than normal. I tried replacing the jack but nothing, it still didn't work. I tried doing a factory reset but that didn't work either.
I can only assume it is a hardware issue which I find hard to believe since i hadn't dropped it in that time frame. I even thought it might have to do with the recent update that i had done on it but I really don't know.
