Headphone Jack Question

When you put your headphones into the headphone jack of the A7 does it click in satisfyingly or does it just go in and you're not sure it's fully in?

For me, there is no satisfying click. I'm never sure if it's fully in unless I press the headphone all the way in.

I dont use theirs use Bose earbuds and they snap...

Seriously, does your earbuds(any brand) snap in there securely? Mine doesn't click nor seem too secure. I have purchased a usb-c to 3.5mm jack adapter hoping that will work. Please let me know about you headphone jack if you got a minute.

Mine works properly. I do have to push in a little harder than I did on my last phone....so maybe you are not pushing hard enough??

Definitely something off about mine.

I tried that. If I push any harder though I'm sure something will break.

Wow, I just fixed it. I don't know if this has been in there since I got it or it somehow got in there after I received it but I took a flashlight and it looked like something down in it and indeed there was. I got a pick tool and it was a ball of lint in there preventing the jack from going all the way in. I got it out and it clicks in perfectly now. I was seriously considering returning it but I didn't want to. Thankfully fixed!
