Change this setting and it will resolve your problem:

Menu-->Settings-->Call-->TTY mode-->TTY VCO

Hi,
I tried the tty method which works for except it seems the volume is too high going out to the car audio and the volume on the phone shows a bar that adjusts up and down but does not affect the output to the car audio.
Does anybody else have this problem?
With the leaked ota that is out does it correct the original problem with the mic being disabled?
Or does it at least now allow us to adjust the audio output in tty mode?

New Tbolt owner here comment on an old thread.

Hoping your guys have addressed an issue with TTY VCO turned on. When VCO is on, I can use my car speakers and my Tbolt mic which is nice. However, "VCO on" does not let me use the MIC on my wired headset. I have to go back into call setting and turn VCO off which is a bit of a pain.

If there was a widget or shortcut to turn VCO off/on that would help.

Any suggestions?
