I'm not an Android programmer, but it's likely one of two things:
1. Those are the only applications that are registered for the headphone intent (other apps would have to update their manifest)
2. TouchWiz is either hardcoded with that list or there's a configuration file that specifies that list (I've looked but haven't found a configuration file yet)

Those cannot be altered since they are built into the framework of TouchWiz.

So you're telling me that the only was to get raid of this is via custom Rom like CM?

Samsung M100 Uproar > Samsung X480 > Siemens SK65 > BlackBerry 7100T > BlackBerry 8220 Pearl Flip > Palm Pre > Samsung Galaxy S > Samsung Galaxy S 2 > Samsung Galaxy S 3

Yes, as stated, it's built into Touchwiz. At least you CAN do something about it if it's that big of an issue.

If you download poweramp this gets rid of all these even with stock touchwiz. I will point out though as soon as you connect your headphones it starts playing through them.

You can turn it off by going to
Settings - > Accessory, then at the bottom unchecking the option under earphones

Sorry but I am a noobie. How do you get to that screen? Also, this relates to a question that just came up. I listen to music using a bluetooth headset (LBS-730). The headset has a buttons to pause/play music, volume, and skip forward/back. It worked great, but yesterday I installed a second music player (doubleTwist). Now the stop/play button sometimes does not work and I need to use the "call" button on the headset. It seems to me that the two music players I have loaded are contending for the bluetooth control buttons. How do I set which player should be used by the headset controls?

umm theres an app i read about to make apps default.. to make double twist for example your default player. dont know if that will work or name of the app lol sorry

There is an app/zip that lets you choose which apps are in the notification but my sd card crashed when flashing a rom and everything I had has been lost. If I find the app/zip I will try to remember to post it here.
