Headphones thing

Hello, recently I found that my phone plays audio trough any headphone with a major difference of volume in left headpiece than the volume in the right piece.
Has anyone any idea if its hardware related or just software? My phone is just 3 months old....

Could be either, and possibly not something that you could fix. Have you tried playing with the plug to see if that does anything?

That was the first thing I've tried. I am considering to send it to warranty but this month its kinda tricky to do that while its Christmas and all this stuff.
I am wandering if anybody has or had this issue after a short period of time of using the phone..

I can't say I have encountered this issue, but have you tried using a 3rd party music player and see if that makes a difference? I never quiet liked the inbuilt music player and PowerAmp is the one I use.

Check for tissue stuffed down the earphone jack, happened to me the other day and affected the sound.
