just got my new Galaxy Watch 4. I went on a 5 mile ride and every time i looked down the heart rate was unavailable. at the end of my workout i can see on the graph that the heart rate crapped out about the first mile of the ride. what a rip off. I just got this watch. my Galaxy Active 2 died. touch screen on it quit working. i was hoping the heart rate issues with the Active 2 was fixed by now. And to top that off the heart rate graph isn't on the heart rate screen.

I've never had an issue with getting my heart rate. Maybe you were wearing it a little too loose. It does seem that you have to about cut off your circulation to get any health information from this watch. Figuratively not literally, but it does have to be tighter than I like.

The two things I was excited about with the watch were the BP monitor and snore detection. They removed the BP monitor and I no longer snore, evidently.

I don't know if it was too loose or not. My Galaxy Active 2 had it cut out from time to time. I miss that watch. it died a few weeks ago so i got this new watch. I was excited about the BP monitor. but i can't find it. so you're saying they removed it? In the US?

I'm not sure of which regions have it or lost it. In one of the videos I watched to try and figure it out they mentioned it, either, not being available in some regions or only being available in some. Yeah I know what's the difference? Not much I'm sure. I didn't extensively search to figure out the origins of the content creators but they seemed American. All I can say for sure is I either find older videos that mention a BP monitor or newer ones that mention ECC and none that mention both.
