Heartbleed with KitKat?? Help please.

So. My Tablet has developed the Heartbleed. Probably one of the Stickman games my son was downloading. Since then I have done a full factory reset and restore and I'm still having the same issues.. things pop up randomly.. my tablet seems to have a mind of it's own the wallpaper options pop up randomly.. I eventually lose control of the screens.. any suggestions would be fantastic.
Oddly enough I already have the new 4.4.4 which was supposed to fix this problem.. My husband suggested it was the heartbleed he is a Systems Engineer so I trust his judgement but lately he's too busy to be messing around with my tablet so I found a heartbleed test app and it said I was infected but there weren't any options to remove it. I've also tried a few clean/virus removal programs.. Clean Master, Avast, AdDetector all of which have now been uninstalled.
Could really use some help.

Welcome to the forums.
I don't think it is the heartbleed bug as the only version of Android affected was 4.1. Any version of Android 4.2 and up should not be affected by it.

I would try rebooting into recovery and clearing the system cache. See if that helps.

Thank you for that option. I just went ahead and did that, the instructions were very simple to follow thank you! I guess I will play with it a bit and see if it's behaving better. Thanks again!

You could also try booting into Safe mode and if the problem stops then you know that it's a currently installed application. Perhaps after the Factory Reset you automatically reinstalled the offending app?

You could also try removing the SD card (if present) to see if something stored on there is causing the problem.

I agree it's quite unlikely it's the heartbleed problem as it's just not super applicable to your instance. Sounds like you have some type of malware or virus your dealing with which is unrelated and using scare tactics of a name people have heard of. Can you take a screen shot of the popups and post when it happens?

Doing a factory restore should fix the issue, however if its a bad app and your apps restore you could have the problem again. Other thing I would make sure is that your wireless router is secured and the DNS is not poisoned. DNS poisoning is a problem I have seen before, usually you see the effects on the other computers in your network too
