Does anyone know if the Droid X will show Hebrew Text in emails and the web? I currently am on a BlackBerry9700, and if I receive a Hebrew Email or visit a site in the Middle East, that posts in Hebrew, it will show in Hebrew, Not the Big Black Ugly blocks-

I am NOT referring to Installing a Hebrew keyboard or Language Package.

FWIW there are several Hebrew-language apps in the market. I don't now if that translates over to email or not. If you can't find an answer PM me and I'll send you my email address and we can test it out.

-Not that I can read Hebrew, but I can tell it from a series of boxes...

Edit: I just looked up a couple of sites and it's not showing the fonts. There are fonts out there to install, but it doesn't appear to be native at this time. Sorry :(

Edit 2: According to this site: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1580 the 2.2 Froyo update adds support for Hebrew fonts. Alas, there appears to be a RTL bug, but I would hope that is the sort of thing that could be fixed more easily at some point. At the least emails should be readable, not sure what it would do to website layout.

Edit: looking at it, although the browser supports reading right to left, copy and paste does not.
Running the leaked 2.2 btw

While I havent actually tried a whole bunch usually its boxes. But I imagine there is an app for that somewhere

The "app" is 2.2, which is totally rolling out this weekend. But apparently (as noted above) there's a left to right bug.
