Helium app not working on Samsung S7 Edge

[Android Central Question]

I've tried just about every feasible way that I can, and nothing is working. I tried to turn off both and reboot them, then start up the helium app on my computer, and on my phone. I've tried toggling between the usb options on my phone from MTP charging and PTP, it still states that I am in MTP mode. Then after all of my fumbling about, it tells me that it is unable to work.
