Hello all. I am joining to discuss Android Phones as someone who is potentially interested in getting an Android phone again someday in the future. I am a current IOS user and have been a loyal IOS person for years now. I had experience with Android a few years ago but didn't like it but that was probably because of the phone I had at the time, which was a Samsung A53 5G which I really didn't like.

Welcome to the forums. What didn't you like about the phone? Perhaps we can help you adjust?

The phone came out in 2022. Samsungs probably haven't changed too much since then.

It was very slow in my experience and had a habit of freezing randomly, and when out of the house I remember it had difficulty getting cell service.

Though that was over 2 years ago that I had that phone, and if I ever got a new Android, it certainly wouldn't be a Samsung.

Welcome aboard. :)

I use both iPhones and Androids, with no problems. A general comparison isn’t worthwhile, since you would be comparing one company, Apple, with the many companies producing Android phones. Apple does not produce cheap iPhones, whereas there are many cheap Androids.

Buy an Android phone which is at the same level as your iPhone, and you will have no problems.

Welcome to AC , as was mentioned if you get yourself one of the top Android phones you will be very happy in comparison to an iPhone

I won't be getting another Samsung that is for sure. What are the main top good Android phones currently?

Don't judge Samsung from your experience of one model. There was a time, I believe, when Samsung and Android were virtually synonymous, and, though I've never owned one, I know that they produce phones of the highest quality.

See this: https://www.androidcentral.com/best-android-phones

That will introduce you to a few phones. You can then decide for yourself whether you think that they qualify as main top good Android phones currently. We all make our own judgments of these things.

Well to be fair you were using a midrange device from Samsung, I think if you had their flagship device you would have a different opinion.

That being said one plus 13r is an excellent device with great battery life .
