Introducing myself to all of the members on the board... I have an Optimus V and recently rooted the device. Looking around for ideas and to answer a few questions as to why to change to a new ROM (i.e. Gingerbread, etc). I understand the reason to root the phone (I've gotten rid of some bloatware and ridiculous stuff that comes installed from VM), but does a change in ROM make the phone work better? What would be the pros and cons to changing the phone so drastically?
