Thanks for the tip, hey I hear the Nexus has no USB storage transffering, something with MTP, can I still transfer files from my pc or no?

edit: oh and does this phone have HDMI? I heard it's achieved through the USB port??

You still transfer files from your pc the same way you do on other phones, it's just using a different process in the background.

Yes, it has HDMI output through the usb port. You can find adapters at Amazon (search usb to hdmi adapter). I got the one made by Samsung and it works great.

I believe that a lot of the concerns you have in your questions, is going to be addressed with this 4.0.4 update thats going to be rolling out soon for the Nexus.

I'm 12 hours away from activating my new phone! I think it's at 4.0.2. Are the official updates automatic?

Welcome to the party

When an official OTA update is released, you will get a message on your phone asking you to update. If you press the update button it will update for you. You can also go to settings>About Phone>System Update.

If you are on 4.0.2, then you are up to date for now.
