I've been a Windows Phone guy since the day WP7 dropped in 2010, but this morning I ordered my first Android phone. I love the WP OS but after 4+ years I guess I'm getting bored because I've been wanting to try something different (but not iOS, seriously can't stand it). My trusty Lumia 920 is finally giving up the ghost so the time was right for a change. Microsoft has sure made transitioning easy by putting all of their apps on Android and iOS lately so I think this will be a relatively painless move. Also it'll be nice to finally see what Google services are supposed to look like on mobile (Google doesn't make WP apps) as I primarily use a mix of Microsoft and Google services.

Thanks for the welcome Mav! I knew I'd forget something. I ordered the 64GB Pure Edition of the 2nd gen Moto X. Took me forever to choose the colors I wanted because I noticed the Moto Maker seems to make all of them seem muted. I ended up checking out pics and vids people posted from unboxings and reviews to get an idea of how they actually looked. Finally settled on a black front with the walnut back. Hopefully it looks as nice in person as it did online.
