Came across this forum while looking for a new phone to buy for my brother.
Will probably hang around to learn some more.

At that, is there a specific forum where i can advice on which phone will suit me best?

It's okay, we can help you in this thread. But if you already have a phone in mind, there are many subforums for many Android phones.

I recommend that you have a list of your wants and needs from a phone and another list with the phones you like and their prices.
Cross reference said lists and that'll get you very close to finding which phone will work for you or your loved one.

Welcome to the forums! Well, if you give us some recommendations here, we can then perhaps recommend some phones that you may like; and you can in turn direct yourself to those forums to gauge user reviews, opinions, impressions of the device, etc.

That being said, you can always head over to the "General News and Discussion" area of the forums and post there. Be sure to include the following:

- what your brother uses his phone for the most (ie, calling, browsing, media viewing, music, social media)
- any specific specifications he would like (ie, screen size, display type, battery capacity)
- any particular brand of phone you think he'd be interested in
