Okay, so I was flashing between the new Cm7 roms, and one looped. I'm pretty sure I used the wrong recovery to load it.

I flashed back to a working nandbackup I had.
Everything seemed fine, except I realized a bit later was I had no data (I was using wifi).

I tried a few other roms, recoveries I had, and such, usually with the recovery mentioned with the rom. None seemed to work.

Some things I know...
Wifi works
I am sending data, just not receiving (in both1x and 3g).
I know that 1x is working in the area as my Blackberry is still working.
I used the "Network" app, and noticed that I have an IP address and dns, what I do not have is a gateway IP.

Things I have tried (all with no luck getting data back):
Original stock Virgin backup of mine, no luck (wiped as well, no luck).
Stock Virgin with Xonia
Rodimus

No idea where to go from here.
Yes, I have tried searching, but the terms are too common.

Turn your phone off, take the battery out and let it sit for 5mins or so.(I don't care if you did it already or not)

Turn your Optimus back on and turn on airplane mode. Turn it back off after 30secs or so and see if that works.

If not, do you have the debug_wipeSystem.Zip that you are supposed to use BEFORE flashing cm7 for optimus?

Without clearing system with the zip you will leave files behind thus causing more probs.

If not then you can always return it and say an update failed... lol

1.Return back to stock
2.call virgin
3.ask for someone to help reprogram your phone

I had to call them last night becuase I messed up my mdn and msid.. Its not a big deal but they helped reprogram the whole phone

Just make sure u tell them somebody was messing with ur phone and u got it back with no data working (dont tell them what u tried to do)

Update:
Apparently this has affected quite a few people now. I decided one last search for some reason and got a hit.

For some reason some phones are losing their activation.

Reload your original Virgin ROM (this is a MUST), hope you pulled a backup. Then use the activate button.
Note: Mine failed, but as I went to reset the data connection, I noticed the uplink symbol blink and I have data again. Not sure why I didn't think of trying that (or anyoen else, but it worked).

Keep those Nandroid backups handy!
Sure glad I did.

If a mod could change this to say solved in thd title, that would be great, thanks. :)
