HELP....bought a T-Mobile Note 3 and trying to use on AT&T

I bought a tmobile note 3 from a guy who said it is unlocked. I put my AT&T sim card and the guy changed some stuff in settings and the 4G LTE appeared on the status bar. I am able to make calls and surf the web fine so I thought everything was good. I just realized now that I can't group text nor receive picture MMS text. Is there something I need to change to make it work on the phone? Do I need to contact AT&T? Or am I just stuck without the ability to send group text or receive MMS? I should've just bought an AT&T model. Thanks anyone who can help!!

Sounds like you just need to adjust your APN settings to represent AT&T model.
