I installed Airdroid from the play store. Needed to have administrative privileges for the find phone feature. The problem is this app is junk (unfortunately). Now there is now uninstall! When opening the play store there are two options, open or deactivate. I push deactivate and I get a pop up. It says the app has administrator privileges and must be deactivated. The only option is Ok. So, I push Ok and nothing happens. In the device application settings the buttons for force stop and uninstall are grayed out. I'm stuck. Any advice is welcome. How do I get this off my phone?

I turned off everything in the app, not sure what did it but was able to uninstall from the play store. I will not use again. Beware!

You have to go into Device Administration and uncheck the box next to the app. After that you can uninstall.

Go into Settings>Application manager and down to AirDroid. Clear cache, Clear data then Uninstall. Been using AirDroid for about a year and no problems with it.

1) Don't panic

2) Go to Settings > Security > Device Administrators

3) uncheck the checkbox next to airdroid.

4) uninstall like normal. :D
