Help! Can't open books since 4.3 update!

Ever since I updated to 4.3 I haven't been able to open any of the books I have in Play Books.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Has anyone figured out how to fix it?

that's one of the apps that seems to still work on mine. have you tried going to app manager and clear data and cache for the app? just a WAG. i'm no expert.

I tried that since you suggested it here's what happened...
Now the books open, but this is what they look like.

dang. dunno. text is fine on mine.

So I was just sitting with the Play Books app open and the text just suddenly popped back to normal.
Odd, but I guess my problem is fixed.

Yes, but I went to app store and found kindle upgrade and it works now. Also happened with Dice Player
