Help- Default spen for handwritten text entry

I enter most of my text as handwritten using the spen. Messages, this message etc. But I cannot find how to change the style of the handwritten line (eg: it's defaulted to thick blue fountain pen style) and it is driving me nuts. I can obvs change it when using s note or any art apps. But I don't know how to do it for normal handwriting entry and I hate The default. It's ruining my new Note8 joy!

Interesting. never noticed. I have a black pen. Just tried searching and can't seem to find it either.

Is yours an awful thick fountain pen? I can't believe no-one else is complaining about this... there must be somewhere to change it. I just can't find where.

It's pressure sensitive. Apply less pressure when writing.

Actually the pressure sensitivity does not work in this instance. I'm impressed at the screenshot. you would have had to be quick to get that.

Mine is black and is pressure sensitive too. Sure don't see any options of changing it either.
