Man that's a lot of work for this poor man to be doing, especially while stationed in Afghanistan.

There must be an easier way?

Another way to bypass 'Activate Your Phone' is to let it try and dial
its *228 for Activation, then you hit "1" on the keypad wait a second, then terminate the call.
Do it 4 times, and BINGO, it just goes to NEXT instead of activate.

everywhere i check, this method seems to work for some people, but it dont' seem working or me. firstly, the drivers posted here is not instlling , 'cause when i point to the download driver folder it tells me drivers not found. and secondly, can you please post me a link for cdma workshop full..i got 2.7, but don't know if it will work. another thing, is this the only method for byepassing activation screen?
