HELP!!!! Galaxy Gear Watch Band To Small

I reread Margee's post and think I will try this method. Wore the watch to work today, and it was a hit at the office. But it started hurting after an hour or so. It's on my desk as type this. I'm going to try and find a cheap ball cap at lunch time to try Margee's idea. After reading it twice, I think I got it, lol. Should work. Hope it does because I really like the watch. Took off my Omega Seamaster to wear this today. Go figure....

Trying to add a photo of my invention. :-)
You can flip the rounded end to be the outside end of the band I guess...so it's a different look..just reverse where you put the "hole"

I posted picks and instructions below. :-)
I bought the ball cap I used at Walmart. If you have a 99? store or Dollar tree you might find one cheaper.

If there was ever a use for sticky threads, this is it.

This is a great use of Forums. Mine fits loose with an extra hole so I won't need to do this mod but I must say it's a very creative and elegant solution.

Somewhat possible given that the Note 3 and S4 were primarily aimed towards female consumers

Yup. I'm pretty sure like 90% certain the Gear was made for women now. Which is strange because I see more men wearing watches than women. Oh well let's see if this is fixed on the next go.

You guys are crazy! I'm 5'11" and weigh 240 pounds and I still have 2 available spots on the watch. 90%? That's crazy talk

I'm 6' and 200 pounds. And I'm on the last available slot. Maybe some guys just have thin wrists. Or the demo models at best buy are different than the actual devices.

They are a bit different.

The demo models at best buy have the security device on the watch making it look bigger than what it is. The security device is on the bottom of the watch and does add some bulk. That's why u were on the last hole. I guarantee u that my wrist is probably the same size as your or bigger.

Yeah I saw that security device on the bottom. Wasn't thinking that would add to bulk. Hmm makes sense now.

Since I was in best buy today I took some picture to show to what I mean.

Next time you're at best buy ask one of the Samsung guys to let you try it on they will take off the security device for you.

The demo devices that you can lift and try on are made of a different material than the real watch. The demo watch doesn't fit me. The real one does.

The Samsung rep saw my disappointment and when I mentioned that the watch won't fit, he thought it was weird and let me try his on. I had to have it on the last notch, but the real on fits. If you look at the rubber, the band on the demo it thicker.

no, look at the display watch again in the picture a few posts up. look at the orange watch, lower left corner. there is a clear plastic stand, then a silver security device, then the orange band. that security device take up space. i wear mine on the last hole (6'2", 350lb) and it sometimes gets tight. one more hole would be perfect. i have a black and an orange gear... (got one free :) ) so now i need to find an orange snap back...

My Gear fits without the mod but I'd like it a little looser. I did the mod but because the band is stiff, it causes my gear to slide so the face is too far back and I have to either twist my arm more or twist the watch forward with my other hand. Is this something that others noticed and/or will the band soften up in time? Thanks!
