Help google Voice search

Need help with google voice search it will not recognize my contacts always puts my contact in with the message and leaves the To: "empty". I've tried everything and for calls I say call "name of contact" and it starts calling random places not even in my contacts. Please if anyone has this problem or has an answer please let me know. Thank You It didn't work with gingerbread and still doesn't with ICS

I used the syntax in page 9 of the manual and it worked:

thank you woody i tried all that didn't work some how its just not picking up my contacts at all.

Please anyone have this problem or knows away to fix it. I'm going nuts here trying for about 4 hours nothing works.

no one I went through all settings, sync everything OH WELL I guess voice search just doesn't work

I have the new ICS update what else do I have to do, to make this work correctly ???
