Help! How do I view videos from iPhone users?

My whole family has an iPhone and I just switched from the 5s to the S5. I was emailed a video from an iPhone, did "preview" and downloaded it and am unable to view it. How do I fix this? It will be a huge problem if we can't exchange videos between devices.
