Help: HTC Inspire Won't Load Past Start Screen

I'm trying to get my Htc Inspire to work, but it won't load past the start screen. It shows the white HTC logo, then the AT&T logo and continues to loop again and again. It won't let me use my volume button to do a factory reset and I've pulled the battery.

Is there anyway to fix this? Or another way to do a factory reset?
