Help! I'm a Firefighter, and I CAN NOT find a screen protector that works!!!!!!!

JDfan3340 - if you are trying one of the rigid shaped ones I think you might be wasting your time - I tried three different ones, and they all presented gaps between the screen and the protector, didn't convey the touches well, I lost sensitivity, the 'edge' stopped working and they basically didn't work - in short I wasted my hard earned cash. Although the flexible screen plastic protectors don't look like they will do the job as well I am well pleased with mine. It has none of the drawbacks I've listed for the rigid ones.

This is what I am using:

https://www.amazon.com/Blindado-Pel...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5436117

What I love about it is that it covers the entire front of the screen so there is no film edge showing. With it being Tempered Glass, you don't have to worry about it feeling "filmy" or "Icky". It feels like you are using the phone naked.

As for fitting cases, I have not had any issues. My wife has an Otterbox Defender with this screen protector on it and the fit is perfect.

Just an option. :D

Talderon - I guess the problems might be brand specific, but that looks very similar to all of those I wasted cash on - and some of mine were not cheap to buy either. That one might be OK, but on the basis of my own experience I wouldn't put a bet on it! FWIW I preferred the feel of a tempered glass finish too, but it was no good if it interfered with the functioning of the phone which is what I found with all those I tried.

Ah, ok. That I can understand. And to be honest, I am not anywhere nearly as hot as where you go. :)

Wish ya luck in finding something. :D I'll keep an eye out for you though.

So I got this one.........

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Screen Protector Case Friendly ArmorSuit Militaryshi | eBay

It's relatively easy to put on. I would definitely watch the video first. But it's on, and if you mess it up, you can redo it. It looks pretty good. Not as good as nothing, obviously. But being a Firefighter, I just wasn't comfortable with nothing on it. I went to a training tonight that was pretty intense, and had the phone in my gear pocket. I had a Speck case on it, and it did great!

I'm a firefighter also. So far the only screen protector I've found that works is the bodyguardz hd. It's the $25 one from att. Thanks I use that and the zizo bolt case off Amazon when I'm running calls.

That is what my wife has on her S7E and it works with her cases. We are on Verizon and had to go to att to get one. I had the store install it. It does not go edge to edge but does cover most of the screen including the curved side. The protector had a curve on the edges so fits nice.

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYY must there always be ONE piece of fuzz that gets stuck under my screen protector!!!

Following just to see if anyone has solid suggestions. I was at best buy and they said their geek squad can just make one butbitbsounds like plastic and didn't really inspired confidence.

Now I'm trying one from bestskinsever.com. It went on the same way as the last one, but seems clearer than that one was.
