i have the app on my desktop computer and i dont know howto transfer it to my evo so i can install it using ASTRO

You can use a program like Astro file manager to browser to the file on your SD card and install it that way.

Connect them with the USB cable. The phone should give you an option, choose to mount the card to the computer. Then copy and paste.

plug the cable into the PC, plug the cable into your phone....the phone will ask how you want to connect...select disk drive.
Then open "My computer" on your pc, select the removable drive that your EVo is listed as and drag/drop the file to a folder on your EVO. I suggest "downloads"

got astro, i put the file in downloads, but cant find downloads folder in astro... help...

Geez that sounds like way to much work! The easiest way for me is to email the file to your Gmail account and install from there, no wires to connect no file to locate and no additional apps to download.

I believe the new htc sync can add apk files with the app addition...haven't tried it yet, just saw it on there
