Help, it keeps asking me to sign in with the previous google account info even after factory reset?

I purchased a refurbished phone for my trip out of the country. I do not know what the previous owners account info is. Please help!!
I have done a factory reset multiple times now and nothing. I would return the phone but I purchased it for this trip I am on right now and wont be back for 2 weeks. HELP!

It keeps on prompting me with:

"this device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device. "

This is impossible because I have no idea who even had this phone before me worse the email info.

Please help!

Without that info, the device will remain unusable. Get a refund from the vendor, who ought not to have sold it in that condition.

Welcome to the forums. There's no way to bypass this security check. Get in touch with the people that sold you the device, without the original Google credentials you have a paperweight on your hands. These security measures exist for a good reason and I hope you understand this.
