help, lost app!

Hey guys for some reason I can't find my stock navigation GPS app. It has a blue arrow as the icon. Can anyone tell me how to get it back? I checked if I accidentally hid the app, but it's not there. Thanks

You've probably updated your Google Maps to the new version, in which case Navigation will be gone, bundled into Maps.

Yeah I just realized I did update my Google maps. Aww man, so my navigation GPS is completely gone? Or does Google maps replace it? Will it still have my turn by turn voice navigation?

Yeah I believe the two apps have been bundled together, you should be able to use turn by turn.

My android did a system update(today) and the app is gone now. I"m sure google had something to do with that.

I am freaking out too! Paid for upgrade and the trick is turning phone on and off to reboot. I went to Google maps and hit icon that looks familiar. Trying it out it a few minutes. My friend today still had icon on her phone but mine is LOST. Hopefully this will work. So bummed. I loved the app before and it had all my previous destinations saved. Do Over...
