Help: Lost my text message notifications sounds

Out of the blue I noticed today that I wasn't getting the usual beep noise when a new text came in (Using Handcent). It worked fine yesterday. Phone calls ring through fine (as in ringtone works). Email notification sounds work.The volumes are all set to max. Just text msg's stopped working.

One thing that I did over the last few hours was play around with Themer and I tried out the UPicons app. Both of which I've stopped using and I'm back to Nova Launcher. I'm not sure if something wasn't/isn't playing nice and blocking the text notification sound or what. Not sure at this point where to look to get it working again.

Any thoughts on where I can poke around in a setting to fix it??

Is the volume turmed up? Try re starting the way phone.

As I stated above. Volumes are at max. I've restarted 2-3 times.

Maybe try downloading again the messaging app.

I had the same problem with the regular text messaging app, I solved it by turning voice notifications off.
