I successfully rooted last night but now I can't download anything from the market. Everything I try I get a notification that says download unsuccessful. I tried clearing market cache and doing a factory reset and no luck. Any ideas?

Also, after the factory reset superuser is gone - will a factory reset make you lose root?

A factory reset shouldn't wipe SU access. You'll have to unroot for that. I had this same problem, but on my galaxy tab. My suggestion, since you're already unrooted is to re-root and see what happens. What Rom did you flash and what method did you use to root?

Did you wipe data and cache before flashing your Rom?

I never got to flash a ROM, I was going to download ROM Manager but I couldn't download anything after rooting, so I didn't get to flash cwm either. I used the Auto Root from the stickies. Everything seemed to go smoothly except for the market not working. Everything else works fine, including WiFi and internet so that's why I'm puzzled.

Are you sure you're google account synced/logged in correctly? I couldn't even use market until I did that.

Thanks to some googling, I fixed it! I had tried clearing data and cache firm the market, but then I went into the download manager in settings-applications-manage applications and cleared the data there and voila! The market worked again! Hope this helps anybody that might have this problem too. Thanks everybody for the answers!

Oh and I just downloaded Superuser from the market - I still had root just lost the superuserapp.

i am having the same problem also. i did the whole clear data thing and cache in download manager and in market but i am still having the same problem. help
