Help me choose

So I've narrowed my tablet choices down to the Iconia, Transformer, and Xoom. I think they're all probably excellent devices and I'll probably be fine with any of them.

My question is, which one actually performs better/with the least lag? I figure I'll be watching a lot of videos off the SD card (entertaining me and my 2-yr old daughter) and I want something that can handle that without choppy video. This will most likely be HD (1080p/720p) videos that I've ripped from my Blu-Ray collection using Handbrake.

Are y'all still really happy with the Transformer and would you buy it again if you were going through the process again?

It's nice that you narrowed it down to 3 with all the choices out there now. I find with Android tablets, it's what features you want. I mean things like external storage, ports (USB, HDMI, etc.) and accessories. The advantage to the Transformer is the keyboard dock. Even if you don't think you'll use it a lot, you'll get a lot more battery life for watching movies. And it's easy to sit it on your lap while it's docked so you don't have to hold it up for 2 hours while watching a movie.

I love the screen on my Asus, and had a great viewing angle.

Asus seems to keep on top of OS updates too, which is really nice.

I'd you are going to watch movies, you need to rule out the xoom since the viewing angles are realluy poor.

I love my ASUS Transformer. I would buy this all over again. I am waiting for Transformer 2 and pass my transformer to my kid.

I just hate the wait getting transformer and everyone seems to jack up the price when it first came up for several months.

Transformer is hands down the best Android tablet out there. I don't understand why everyone is having trouble finding them either, every store around me has them for $399 for the 16gb and has for months.

For your use, I would say transformer. I can't speak to BluRay HD videos, but I have loaded several of my 3 year old daughter's favorite shows on mine and play them back, transcoding in realtime with MoBo Player. No choppiness or other issues.

The reason I say the transformer though is because of the dock. Although a lot of the video players have screen locks, they are usually bypassed and the physical buttons usually still work. If my daughter is holding the tablet, she always ends up pushing a button and messing up the playback (pausing it, exiting, etc.) With the dock, it sits easily on a table or the floor and she doesn't have to worry about holding it, plus it give it more battery life in case I forgot to charge it.

The Best Buy I went to had plenty of them.
IIRC the online inventory system won't say a store has a product unless it has at least five of them and my store was listed as having the 16 and 32 GB.
