Help me decide if gear S3 is the correct size for me

I need help in deciding if I should purchase the gear s3. I live in a third world country where there is no such thing as a return policy, currently there is a sale going on where I can buy the Classic or the Frontier version on a significant discount but my only concern is if the watch would be too big for my tiny wrist.
I am a 5'6" male with rather dainty wrists and since I don't have the benefit of a Return policy I just want to make sure that the watch doesn't look comical on my wrists.
Any advise will be highly appreciated. Thanks

P. S. I would also like to add that I unfortunately don't have access to a physical store where I can go and check out this watch. This is only an online sales!

You could try cutting out a piece of thin cardboard the same size as the smartwatch and then hold that on your wrist. It may seem a bit weird but it will give you a rough idea of how large it will be on your wrist. Be sure to allow for height of the phone and for the watch band.

I usually don't give much thought to how others may find my choices in clothes, watch or much else so I never gave any thought to what anyone thought about the size of the watch.

Thanks a lot, this is actually very intelligent. I'll give it a try to get a feel.

I don't really understand all the fuss about the size of this watch (unless, maybe you're female). I am a 5' 8" male, average build with average to below average wrist size, and my S3 doesn't feel any bigger than any of my other watches. I also read all the reviews and posts about size before purchasing, but when I got the watch and put it on, my immediate reaction was "what's all the fuss about"? It looks and feels fantastic, so if it works for you in terms of your specific needs, I wouldn't let size be a factor. Just my 2 cents.

I'm 5' 1" female who has small wrists. The size of the watch was originally a concern for me when I purchased the gear S. I have had the S2 & now the S3. I really loved the features of the S series watches so I really don't care if anyone thinks its too big for my wrist. I think it depends on whether the watch fits the majority of your needs/wants.
