Help me figure this out

Hey I just bought my galaxy note 4 from my country's carrier yesterday and it started with lollipop right out of the box and it had some issues like old galaxy apps which wouldnt update so I did factory reset and solved that out. I find it not normal that it wasn't running kitkat. And I also noticed that my basedband version differs from my build number. What does this mean exactly? Also there is a section at the bottom of my about device which says configuration version not available. Please good ppl help me out to figure this out. And just to repeat, the device is bought from the official carrier's store. Unfortunately, as a new user, I can't upload photos or post links to show you.
