Question How do I get RCS chats to work on my secondary profile?

I created a secondary user profile on my phone to help with mindfulness throughout the day. Basically, I'm trying to turn my smartphone into a "dumbphone." Everything is going relatively well - except for RCS messaging. RCS works on the primary user profile, but not the secondary. Same phone number, same email, same SIM card. RCS is enabled in the settings. I'm using Google Messages in Android 16, on a Pixel 8 Pro.

How do I get this to work? Thanks.

My guess would be that, because RCS is active in the other profile for the same line, it won't let you activate it on the secondary profile. If you turn off RCS on the main one, does the second one 'work' now? (If so, then that's why: not letting you use RCS on the same line/device twice).
