I can't find a good screen protector + case, everyone I see on Amazon has a lot of bad reviews, some of them are alarming such as no cutouot for the proximity sensor or laser autofocus, I know there is a thread for the Nexus 6P cases but it's like 45 pages long I really don't wanna go through it

Can you please point me to the best screen protector and case options? preferably from Amazon.com or directly from the site if they do international shipping

I had ordered a Nexus 6P Screen Protector GLAS.tR SLIM + Nexus 6P Case Neo Hybrid EX - Satin Silver but later discovered that the case is on pre-order and will only be shipped on the 28th of December and I don't wanna even open/use my phone without a case + screen protector

PS: I have the Silver color of the 6P 64GB

I use the Supcase Unicorn Beetle case & IQ Shield screen protector. I had that same combo on my 2013 moto X for over 2 years and my phone looked brand spanking new still when you took the case and the screen protector off. I work outside in very harsh environments and the screen protector and case protects my phone excellent. Plus, with the semi clear back I think its called frost, on the case, you can still see the color of my phone through it.

I used an IntelliArmor glass screen protector. It fits well except a tiny little bit in the corner - tiny! A lot of people are reporting that screen protectors don't fit the corners of the 6P well. Mine seem 98% fine. I would order from them again.

I got this case - incredibly cheap - and I really like it:

Nexus 6p case, KuGi ® High quality ultra-thin PC Hard Case Cover
Amazon.com: Nexus 6p case, KuGi ® High quality ultra-thin PC Hard Case Cover for Google / Huawei Nexus 6p 2015 smartphone. (Black): Cell Phones & Accessories

I've got the same TG protector as you, and was surprised how well it went on. After putting on PET film protectors for awhile now (and usually needing to buy a 3 pack because sometimes the first or second try failed), I got this TG on in the first try. I had an issue in the corner for a few days but it went away.

As far as the case, I went with the Protective model by Adopted from the Google Store. It doesn't add much bulk, and it's got a texture to it so it isn't slippery. I used to always use the High Gloss Silicon (TPU) ones from Verizon, but they could get slippery, I don't think I'll have that problem here.

I have a carbon fiber Spigen case and love it. Doesn't change the feel of the phone much.

You did good my friend. I have both and they're flawless ... FYI a lot of the earlier reviews from AMZN were from cases that have since been adjusted. You can't go wrong with Spigen.

That's what I thought, I had Spigen cases for all my phones the past year and the cutouts were always right and they didn't spoil the aesthetics of the phone, thus, I didn't wanna take any chances.

I actually wanted the Ringke Case but a lot of bad reviews on Amazon turned me away, it's the best looking IMO. Too bad...

How is the screen protector on holding off on fingerprints?

Most glass ones have decent oleophobic coatings, and the nice thing about using a protector (vs going without) is that when the coating starts wearing off, you can just replace the protector. If the coating wears off the phone's screen, that's it. It's one reason I personally recommend always using a protector of some kind, regardless of the fact some people think they're just a waste of money. Keeping the factory coating intact is always worth it if you want to resell your phone.

True, when I feel my screen has a few micro scratches, I simply change the screen protector and it's new again. Never using a phone without a screen protector

I've got a Ringke case and it turned out to be the best one I tried. I bought two different Redshields, and some no-name for cheap, but the Ringke fits perfectly and has a great feel to it. I also got the Yoozon protector, and while some have had issues, mine went on fine.
