morning all was all set on buying a nexus 6p next week but is it really the best phone to get. had a nexus 6 up until February and thought it was a great phone apart from a very poor camera so do i get a new nexus or try something else phone got to last for a 24 month contract also looking for something that will not easily break so something infantry friendly and great battery life

I'd say the vanilla S7 is better on all terms. Maybe more expensive but if you can afford it. Super camera, super screen and very fast! :)

I agree, but I had the S7 edge, just sold it at a loss because it was defective (kept dropping data connection) and verizon refused to replace it with a new phone because it wa past the 14 day window. That 14 day window, is for someone returning a good phone that they just didn't like. Imagine spending 700.00 and beinf told you'll get a rephurb as a replacement after just 1 month of use? .

i feel for you guys over there with repairs, we are lucky over here as we consumers have the right to ask the retailer to replace or repair any faulty item for up to six years after an item is purchased. what phone have you got now,

What are you looking for in a phone? if we know more info then we can help you more.

You can't go wrong with any of the late 2015 phones or 2016 phones.

I currently have the LG G5, which is awesome. I also had the S7 edge was great & Nexus 6p is great (great camera for a Nexus)

looking for a good all rounder really also something that will not slow down. usage will be to watch movies web browsing also a decent camera

I can echo The Tall Guy's sentiment in saying the G5 is awesome. Very fast, great screen and my battery life is great. And a good camera to boot.

All that to say, I think you were right to want the 6P. It's gonna be a little slower than the G5, but in every day use it's probably not gonna be something you notice.

All phones slow down over time. You can always backup and factory reset. I've seen phones a couple of years old act like new afterwards.

hi i'll definitely won't be going the LG route had a lg g3 worst phone i've ever had. also i swore i'd never buy another LG product after the issues i've had with the LG oled tv's. i'm thinking nexus 6p could be the one to get as it's pure android so should be more responsive then the Samsung running touchwiz and android

Here's what I did when I got rid of my S7 edge. I read an article right here on Android Central about a deal on ebay with a company called Breed. They sell new phones and accessories at a discount. I was able to pick up a brand new galaxy s6 edge, 128gb, for $469.00. Now the thing with breed is that the price bounces from the low that I paid, to around $529.00. You've got to hit it just right. So as soon as I got the phone I unwrapped it, set it all up, took it to Verizon to verify it was never activated, put in my sim, and its been wonderful. Only downside is that if you're a heavy user, you might need to recharge when you get home from work. It does support wireless charging and quick charging. Im a moderate user and usually have 30% life when i hit the hay around 10. I just checked Breed on ebay and right now they're $529.00. Thats still a bargain. Since the MM update, this s6 edge is super fast, and battery life got better too.
