HELP: music player built-in app keeps emptying my playlists

Yep, you read that right. Whenever I open Music Player and tap on a playlist, it comes up empty.

I don't know what is causing this strange behavior.

The playlist seems to last untouched for a whole day after adding songs.

Phone specs: Samsung SG2 Skyrocket with official ICS rom.
