Help! My moto g 2nd gen won't charge except using my car charger?

Moto g 2nd generation will not charge, except from my car charger it's going to shut down any second and I need to contact my employer. Help?!

Have you tried another charger?
If you don't have one, they are plentiful to find and rather inexpensive.
Your original charger may have died, which is not uncommon.
