help! my note 3 turned into a brick

it was more than 50% charged, and when i took it out of my pocket, it was dead as a brick. it won't turn on. no red light nothing. i plugged it into the charger, and still nothing. it is a new phone, bought just 6 weeks ago. help!

Pull the battery and the SIM card, wait 45 seconds then put them back in. Try booting up and see what happens.

Hi,
Exact same thing-bought Galaxy Note 3 about 6 wks ago-was charged- installing an app made it a brick. NOTHING . Call the 800 verizon customer support. They'll try all the usual- holdiing the power/volume down at same time- if nothing boots it up ask for a new phone- INSIST- my galaxy has been wack since I bought it- the rep was very good- finally decided to send a replacement in the mail- you'll need to return the dead phone to them within 5 days. Good Luck!
