Hello everyone! Recently, I bought a phone from a stranger. Unfortunately, he set up my phone, so my phone will automatically record my phone calls and sends to that stranger. I can't see any suspicious apps, probably he hid that malware. It is vivo y02, it has a security check, but it didn't find anything. How can I fix that, so I can freely breathe and don't think about my personal data being leaked?

Is it enough? I mean, it has a cost to take a new sim card, I think problem is only in phone, because it is impossible to turn off automatic phone recording.
Welcome to Android Central! Did the phone come with the SIM card, or did you use your own?

I would agree with doing a full factory reset, and then setting the phone up as if it were brand new (i.e., not restoring it automatically from a previous backup).

Agreed, but first I would make sure to sign out of any Google accounts before resetting to prevent factory reset protection from kicking in and risking it requiring that stranger's password to set up again. Normally you shouldn't need to do this as an independent step, but I would in this case to not take any chances.
