HELP my phones pleading the FIFTH!!!

My X keeps automatically switching to silent. Every time my phone rings or I make a call it switches to silent mode automatically. Driving me crazy please help has anyone had this problem if so what can I do to fix it?

I know those exclamation points, this must be trouble,lol.
First just to make sure, you do not have silent mode enabled in the settings or in any app installed. Check your vol keys for proper operation by just switching the vol up and down and testing it to make sure the ringer is working on all levels. Thats all I can think of for right now.

LOL you know me...I check everything even for naughty apps. It really aggravating!

Nope I went through and deleted any app that may be the culprit and the same thing keeps happening. Now it's sending automatic text to folks now! I'm probably gonna have to send it back. I checked on line and folks have experienced the same thing but no fix!

Mine has been doing this too. I might try convincing a rep to let me early upgrade to the Galaxy Nexus. Between this and the Bluetooth static, trying to use my phone to actually make calls is becoming very difficult.

that is unfortunate. shocking this far in and those stock issues remain.
