[Help Needed] GPS & Brightness Settings Reset

My OV keeps reseting the brightness that I have set through the notification bar widget after I turn the screen off. It's frustrating since it jacks itself all the way to the lowest brightness setting making it hard to see the screen sometimes.
Furthermore, all my location settings fail to turn on. The checkbox unchecks itself if I leave that menu or upon clicking the check box. Both network and GPS.

I just updated my CM7 rom to BobZHome's 3/23/12 build.

You should post your solution for those that come across this thread later. I'm guessing you had to disable auto brightness, not sure what you did to fix GPS though.

It was relatively simple. Under settings I disabled permissions management. Booted into recovery. Cleared cache and dalvik, reflashed ROM, then the gapps, and used the fix permission. Reboot andyou should be fixed
