Help Needed with Email...Please!

When opening 1 of my email accounts, i get the message:

Alert
The email is no longer available on the server.
ok

Pressing "ok" will clear the alert. But the alert comes up everytime I open this account.

So far I:

1) shut phone off.

2) pulled the battery.

3) deleted the account 2x and re-installed.

All help is and will be appreciated.

What kind of email is it? Exchange, POP, etc?

I had the same thing happen the other day. Gmail was ok though. Seemed to be linked to the use of WiFi in my case. I disabled WiFi, used the radio only and reset my POP server settings and it took off again. Haven't had it happen since. Are you still getting messages to that account when you check via PC?

FWIW, if you have deleted the account and tried to set it up twice more, I think Tony is probably right.

If all is updadted on gmail, then it will be like set-up on Day 1?

Yup, back to the beginning. I expect you'd lose any applications you've downloaded, along with any other personal settings.

Yeah, if you use gmail, you'll get all your email/contacts/calendar stuff comes right back once it re-synchs. I think if you synch your apps to appbrain, you can get an HTML list (might want to post it here in this thread) for ease of recovery later. If there's an easier way to "one click" restore your apps, maybe somebody else will chime in. Your SD card will not be affected so pics, ringtones, etc are safe if they're on the card.

A master reset did not fix the Alert.
