help needed

Hello all Im new to the forum and android in general, Im with Tmobile and looking to upgrade from my flip phone to either the G2, mytouch 4g or the motorola Defy

My main reason for switching first is because of web and email, I never fancied the web on phones because it wasnt like the computer, I need to access websites with flash content, check my gmail like on my computer because of certain things I deal with and lastly but not very important be able to view content on vimeo.com....I was told all three phones could handle flash content at the tmobile store, does anyone have experience with them, please help

G2 is a perfect choice because of the bigger screen than defy, but the physical keyboard is the main attraction for me

defy is very ideal because I am clumsy, Ive replaced so many flip phones that fell into the toilet, second floor, from desk etc, reason for which I never upgraded my phone, so the gorilla glass and water resistant thing has my attention

4G and awesome phone

Im confused as to which to buy, I just want to make the choice and be done with it for another couple years.....NEED YOU EXPERIENCED USERS HELP, WHICH ONE IS THE BETTER PERFORMER?

It's tough because a lot of it depends on taste. myTouch vs G2 is all taste as I've said many times before. Both have android 2.2 and do everything you want well. The Defy makes this more interesting, because if you are clumsy it has a better chance at survival, whereas the G2 and myTouch will not live should they take a dunk or hit pavement. Cases will help, but only so much.

If you need flash I believe the defy only runs android 2.1, so it doesn't have full flash (I think).

The defy is not high end like the other two, but it seems if you can get 2.2 on it then it may be the right choice for you. I tell everyone this, but you really need to go play with them.

@ No spin thanks!!! I think you are right on the "need to go play with them" ... the only problem is for some reason (shady one I think) the stores here never have a working phone, and when asked say they never do, but as you said defy dosent have full flash, I'll have to tough it up and go with the G2 then and have insurance on the phone....Thanks
