Help needed

Guys, i rooted my n4 with towelroot.. Haven't done anything else yet. Have installed a root only apps. Now I need to know what shall be done when the OTA update to android 5.0 arrives. Will i brick the phone if i allow the installation. Pls help guys. Noob here

If you try and install an OTA with root access and other customisations, one of two things will happen. Either:

1) the OTA will install and your phone will be fine. (you'll lose root.)

2) you'll get a message telling you the OTA can't be installed because the file checksum failed, and your phone will be fine.

This is from personal experience BTW.

Regardless, you have to try very hard to permanently brick a nexus device.
