HELP! Network Error Please Try Again Later!

Just got a Pixel XL last night. Great phone, but every 10 seconds I get an error at the bottom of the phone that says "Network Error, please try again later."

It's driving me nuts. I'm about to return the phone.

Any suggestions?

I've reset network settings already.

Try sliding out the sim card and putting back. Could maybe also need a replacement sim.

I have reseated the SIM now and also done a factory reset. Haven't seen the error again for now.
