I keep wanting to buy the Nexus 6, but when I read this forum I keep seeing complaints about battery life. I was hoping that anyone who has had a G3 that converted to the Nexus could give me a better idea. If it is even a little bit better, then I am going to buy it ASAP. If not, I will probably wait for the G4

Thanks in advance

I came from the G3 before having the Nexus 6. Battery life on the Nexus is ok, not the best, but much better than the G3 in my experience. I would get around 3.5 hours screen-on time with the G3, and usually get close to 5 on the N6. Mixed usage, your mileage may vary, etc etc.

I'm still waiting on the 5.1 update (ugh), but a lot of people are saying it's helping their battery performance a good bit on the nexus.

I also had g3 battery definitely better by atleast a couple of hours a day

I used the g3 on verizon for about 4 months last year. I would get about 4 to 4.5 hours screen time. I'm getting about 6 hours screen time on the Nexus and it's pretty consistent for me. Also on verizon 5.1. I think the nexus is a great phone so smooth. I did like the buttons on the rear for the g3.

Thanks all. I made the jump and ordered the 64 GB Model which should be here Saturday. Looking forward to using it. My first Nexus since the Galaxy Nexus..

Hope you enjoy it, it's a great device. I sold my note 4 and iPhone 6 plus to use the nexus 6 as my daily, and I'm extremely happy with it.
